FIVE YEARS AGO, Dan Sabedra, general manager of NBC Truck Equipment in Detroit, started selling parts and accessories for snow- and ice-control equipment on the Internet. After logging a sales volume of $5,000 the first year, NBC has experienced an increase every year, with a volume of $15,000 in 2005.
