A practical idea or just a lot of wind?

Has the trucking industry given any thought to capturing the wind created while driving on the highway? Jack Reynolds thinks a trailer constructed with thin windfarm-inspired propellers enclosed in the roof and side panels could generate enough energy to favorably effect fuel mileage — a hybrid for trucking. A series of NACA ducts feeding tunnels to the fans and exiting at the rear would work, in his opinion. Reynolds is submitting this idea to see if it has any merit in readers' opinions.
